MERGE
COMPLETE
A long awaited and faintly concealed
Empire merge has taken place between 'Dark Hold' and
'Skymark'. Members moved out under founder's orders
last week, with Titanium Jones leading with the majority
of the 'Dark Hold' Empire's funds. MajorT remained
behind to guard their final planet, 'Zeierh V'. MajorT
reports that the cause of the merge with Skymark are
due to "losses caused by traitorous infiltration".
He cannot confirm that rumors of fellow Empire member
Vlad was the cause, but we have a sinking suspicion.
Former Dark Hold Founder MajorT does confirm our reports
of the player Viridian destroying three of Dark Hold's
six colonized planets, without provocation. Viridian,
as you may know, sold Zeierh III for a decent profit
of 85k to Volacious of Majestatis Rex. Skymark is
an Empire to be aware of from this day forward. As
they have a growing population of knowledgable players,
they are sure to become the Empire to beat in the
race for the top.

FEED
A hacked Collective newscast feed reports
of misleading information being distrubuted through
the systems into the news network. Such as Majestatis
Rex rivaling colonised territories being a threat
to total domination, as it is now clear rumours were
unfounded as collective surges forward taking more
prime planets. Other rumours included the founder
has only four eyes when infact there are six eyes
of the greater mind.."
PIRATE
BID FOR CONTROL
Under interrogation a number
of pirates have released the information that an unholy
alliance of pirates has been able to build a warp
gate from a secluded part of the Rhydi border to Tau
Ceti. This warp gate has allowed thousands of pirates
to slip through and harass the inhabitance of the
Tau realm. A prominent Dralki official was quoted
as saying "We are currently working towards discovering
the location of the gate and intend to attack when
the time presents itself."
ILARII
BOLSTER FORCES
Probes have detected increasing
activity of the Ilarii. Experts theorise the increasing
Ilari activity may herald the emergence of a new generation
Ilari war fleet.
HEGEMONY
RAIDS
The Terran Hegemony have launched a series of daring
raids on several Ilarii-controlled planet. Officials
claim the attack was organized in secret, without
the knowledge of middle-and-low ranking officers.
Independant military analysis experts believe the
attacks were instigated following the brutal attacks
on five colonies belonging to the Terran Hegemony.
Those colonies included were Ichar IV, Daedos, Phalen,
Mitchen and Phae II.
HEGEMONY
CARVES NEW FRONTIER!
The Terran Hegemony signalled the launch of the massive
124th Expeditionary Corps who will be travelling far
into the southern corner of the galaxy. The fleet,
containing some three hundred ships including support
vessels, are able to sustain the expedition for three
years, before they must replace their lost resources
including food, drink and other necessary supplies.
The 124th plans to make regular contact with independant
news networks along the way and we will be keeping
you up to date on the situation along their journey
